Author : Ramia Amer Khalil and Saif Abdullah Mustafa

This research aims to examine the impact of the independent variables—modern agricultural machinery and equipment, and imports of agricultural raw materials—on the dependent variable, which is the value of agricultural output, in both Egypt and Australia. By analyzing the relationship between these variables, it becomes clear that the use of advanced agricultural technologies, such as tractors and modern equipment, has a positive effect on increasing agricultural productivity, thereby contributing to the rise in the value of agricultural output. Moreover, imports of agricultural raw materials, such as fertilizers and minerals, play a vital role in improving soil fertility and enhancing crop production. The results of the time series analysis indicate that increased investment in agricultural machinery and the expansion of raw material imports strengthen the agricultural sector’s ability to meet the demands of both local and international markets, thereby supporting the national economy. Despite the differences between Egypt and Australia in terms of technological and economic development, the relationship between these variables remains strong in improving agricultural production. Therefore, the research highlights the importance of integrating advanced technology and strategically utilizing raw materials to achieve sustainable development in the agricultural sector. This requires the adoption of strategies and policies that support investment in these areas to stimulate agricultural economic growth in both Egypt and Australia.
