In order to horticulture and economic evaluation of Early Sweet and Super Thompson grapevines cultivars under desert land conditions at Abo-Qurqas in Minia Governorate Egypt, during two successive seasons 2023 and 2024. The two cultivars were grown in well drained sandy soil and water table depth is not less than two meters. Furthermore, the economic studies which achieved during this work were applied on four villages famous for vineyard cultivation, Dafash, Al-Tofiquia, Fhana, and Eyboan. The results showed that the ‘Early Sweet’ exhibited the best vegetative growth characteristics rather than ‘Super Thompson’. In the other hand Super Thompson cv. recorded highest burst buds% and the lowest percentage of dormant buds %. The Super Thompson cv. recorded the best physical and chemical characteristics of berries. Through an economic evaluation and financial return analysis of these cultivars, supported by statistical analysis of economic data, the study indicated that the Super Thompson cv. is more preferable for grapevines farmers in Minia Governorate, especially in new replicated desert lands of Minia Governorate.
